Photoshop Introduction

Course Outline

This course considers how to use Photoshop CS3 to manipulate digital Images. After learning all the major Photoshop features and tools, it will allow you to use Photoshop creatively to make eye-catching designs suitable for print or for the web.

How to retouch digital photos.

How to make montages using the selection tools, and how to use filters.
How to automate your workflow using actions, and how to save for the web.

Creating, saving and navigating documents, how to use the file browser
Using Colours - How to choose a colour and use it in a composition.
Type and text - How to add text to a Photoshop document and type on a path

Understand how to make, transform and save a selection from an image.
